Pregnancy Month Four

This month your baby is the size of a Pear!

Congratulations! You are in your second trimester, this is a huge deal! You may be feeling relief, concerned, excited, you know... all of the things. You should only disclose your pregnancy if you feel ready but know that it will always your choice to do so. The fear of loss will always be there throughout your pregnancy, it never goes away but know you have people in your life who support you when you are ready to share the news!

Your baby.

Baby is still pretty small so there is still plenty of room for them to float around and practice their matrix moves in the womb. You may start to feel movement although it won’t be punching or rolling but you will feel the little flickers and trust me, it is overwhelmingly exciting! At this point in your pregnancy baby is starting to develop hormones and is starting to swallow amniotic fluid. There are many ways you can connect with your tiny pear, talk to them! Share your hopes and dreams with them. They can hear you, no they cannot understand you but they can start to recognize your voice from here on out so get them used to the voices that will be around them.

Your body - What is happening.

You may or may not still be experiencing morning sickness by this time of all three of my pregnancies the nasty stomach churning feeling was starting to fade away. I genuinely feel like this month was the best feeling month but it varies from person to person. If you are starting to feel better this month you should take advantage of doing all of the things. Start decluttering the house, take that trip you may have wanted to take for a while, start exercising if you choose to. Every month your body will continue to change so take it as it comes. Enjoy your pregnancy, you are doing great so far.

What you should do this month.

Your body is still changing and this month you could be popping out more than you have before, take a little shopping break and find yourself some things to wear that make you feel good during all of these body changes. Make sure you are still taking your prenatal vitamins and maybe if you feel comfortable start exercising more. Not saying you need to run a marathon, you can it is fine, however, a small brisk walk is still just as important and good for you and your body.

Keep positive! You are one month closer to meeting your new babe!
